Colchicine 500 mcg. TABS: 30. 1 tab. 3 x dly. Limit for whole
cure: 16 tabs.
Acute gout, FMF.
Uric Acid Production Inhibitor. Febuxostat 80 mg. F.C. TABS.: 28. 80 mg×1/d no regard to
meals. If serum uric acid is > 6 mg/dL
(357 μmol/L) after 2-4 wks., 120 mg
×1/d may be consid. Retest ser. uric
acid after 2 wks. Gout flare prophylaxis
of at least 6 mths. is recom.
Tmt. of chronic hyperuricaemia in cond.
where urate deposition has already
occurred (include. a history, presence of,
tophus and/or gouty arthritis).
C/I: Hypersens.
Urate-Oxidase. Pegloticase 32 mg/ml. VIAL (Concent. for sol. for IV infus.) 1.
Adult.: 8 mg (uricase protein) given as an IV infus. every 2 wks. See lit.
Tmt. of chron. gout in adult pts. refractory to convent. therapy.
