Dosage
One tablet, once a day.
Indications
Treatment of hypertension for patients in whom combination therapy is appropriate.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to one of the components, pregnancy/lactation, severe hepatic failure, biliary cirrhosis or cholestasis, anuria, severe renal failure, therapy resistant hypokalemia, hyponatraemia, hypercalcemia and symptomatic hyperuricaemia.
Special Precautions
Elderly patients, patients with impaired renal function, patients with impaired hepatic function, changes of the serum electrolytes, hepatic failure, systemic lupus erythematosus. Thiazide derivatives can alter the glucose tolerance and can lead to increases in the serum cholesterol, triglyceride and uric acid levels, pregnancy/lactation.

Side Effects
Headaches, dizziness, tiredness, depression, cough, rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, infections of the upper respiratory tract, nose bleed, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, frequent urination, urinary tract infections, dysuria, pain in the arms or legs, arthritis, myalgia, distortions and strains, muscle cramps, asthenia, chest pain, viral infections, visual disorders, conjunctivitis, impotence.
