C/I:  Hypersens./ hypersens. to quinolones/Pregn., possible pregn., or breast-feeding women.

CAPLETS: 20. 200-800 mg dly. 1 x dly in
morn, or 2 x dly, morn. and even.
Uncomplicat. lower UTI: 100 mg 2 x dly.
Uncomplicat. gonorrh: 400 mg 1 x dly.
Infects. kidneys, urin. tract, reproduct.
orgs., abdom. cavity (incl. bact. diarrh.),
respirat. tract, ENT, skin, soft tissues:
200 mg 2 x dly. Severe infects., insuffic.

quinolones, excips., epilepsy, convuls.,
tendon problems, myasthen. gravis,
G6PD defic, under 18 yrs. See lit.

magn/alumin., calc. -cont. antacids,
sucralfate or iron preps., hypersens.,
past history tendinit., epilepsy, child.,
pregn., lact. G6PD defect, pre-exist. CNS
lesion.

Sol. FOR I.V. PERFUS: 100 ml. Normal
ren. funct: Urin. tract infects: 1 x 100-
200 mg/day; kidney and genital
infects: 2 x 100-200 mg/day; respir.
infects, bone and joint infects, skin and
soft tissue infects., abdom. infects,
septicem: 2 x 200 mg/day. All within a
12 hr interval. Cases of variable sens.,
severe/complicat. infects. or insuffic.
response: Can adjust to 2 x 400 mg/
day.
Infects. genito-urin., respir. tract., chron./
recur. ear, nose and throat, skin and soft
tissue, bones/joints, bact. enterit., abdom. cavity (incl. pelvis), septicem.
Prevent infects. when signif. resist. to
infects.
