Supplement in intraven. nutrition of
adults to meet reqs. of trace elements.
Solution for Parenteral Nutrition. L-Glutamine 13.46 g / 100 ml, L-Alanine 8.2 g / 100 ml. Bottle (conc. for sol. for infus.): 50 ml,
100 ml, 250 ml. I.V. Dly dose: 1.5-2.0 ml/kg bdy. wt. (eq. to 0.3-0.4 g N(2)-Lalanyl-L-glutamine/kg bdy wt. Max.
dly dose: 2 g amino acids/kg wt in
parenteral nutrition. See lit.
I.V. parenteral nutrition regimen as
supplement to amino acid solns. or an
amino acid cont. infus. regimen. Extreme
cases hypercatabol. stage such as major
abd. surg., BMT, diffuse injury GI mucous.
C/I: Severe ren./hepat. insuffic., severe
metabol. acidosis., hypersens.
Soya Oil 200 g / 1000 ml. I.V. INFUS (fat emuls.): 100 ml, 250 ml,

Highly Refined Fish Oil 10 g / 100 ml, Glycerol 2.5 g / 100 ml, Purified Egg Phosphatide 1.2 g / 100 ml. VIALS (sol. for parenteral nutrit.): 10 x 50
ml, 100 ml. Infus. via central or periph.
vein. Dly dose: 1 ml - max. 2 ml/kg bdy.
wt. Infus. rate not to exceed 0.5 ml/kg
bdy. wt./hr.
Parenteral nutrit. supplement with long
chain omega-3-fatty acids, especially
eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic
acids when oral or enteral nutrit. imposs.,
insuffic. or contraindicat.
General Anesthetic. Propofol 10 mg/ml, 20 mg/ml. Vial/Amp: 1/5/10 X 20 ml, Bottle: 1/10/15 x 50 ml, 1/10/15 x 100 ml. Emuls. for IV.
Dosage to be adj. indiv. according to pt's response.
Short-acting IV gral. anaesthetic for: induction and mainten. of gral. anaesthesia in adlts and childr > 1 month/ sedation for diagn. and surgical procedures, alone or in comb. with local or regional anaesthesia in adlts and childr > 1 month/ sedation of ventilated pts > 16 years in the intensive care unit
C/I: Hypersens. Use in pts <16 years for sedation in intensive care.
