50 mg taken as needed approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. Based on efficacy and toleration, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. May be taken before or after meal.
Impaired renal function: No dosage adjustment is required in mild to moderate renal impairment.; in severe renal impairment dose of 25 mg should be considered.
Impaired hepatic function: A dose of 25 mg should be considered.
Elderly: Dosage adjustment is required.         

Treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredientor to any component of the product. Patients who are concurrently using nitric oxide donors (such as amyl nitrite), organic nitrates, or organic nitrites in any form either regularly or intermittently. Patients under 18 years of age. Severe cardiovascular or severe liver disease. Recent history of myocardial infarct, stroke, or patients who suffer from low blood pressure. Patients who have loss of vision in one eye because of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), Patients with hereditary degenerative retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa. This medicine is not intended to be used in women.

The medicine is only effective when there is sexual stimulation. The time to the start of the effect of the medicine varies between patients; the effect of the medicine will usually begin a half hour to one hour after taking it.
