    Amphetamines. Dextroamphetamine Saccharate , Dextroamphetamine Sulfate , Amphetamine Aspartate Monohydrate , Amphetamine Sulfate .

    ADHD: Not recomm. for childr. under 3 years of age.
    Childr. 6 years of age and older, start with 5 mg once or twice/d; dosage may be raised in increm. of 5 mg weekly until optimal response is obtained.
    Narcolepsy: Usual dose: 5 mg to 60 mg /d in divided doses, depend. on indiv. pt. response.

    C/I:
     Hypersens. Hypersens. reactions such as angioedema and anaphylactic reactions have been reported - Pts taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or within 14 days of stopping MAOIs (incl. linezolid or intravenous methylene blue), because of an incr. risk of hypertensive crises .

    Lisdexa S.K. 10 MG/ML Oral Solution

    Centrally Acting Sympathomimetics. Lisdexamfetamine 10 mg/ml.
    Bottle, oral sol. 100 ml
    ADHD: starting dosage in adults and ped. pts 6 years and older is 30 mg (equivalent to 3 ml) once/d in the morning. Dosage may be adj. in incr. of 10 mg (equivalent to 1 ml) or 20 mg (equivalent to 2 ml) at approx. weekly intervals up to max. dosage of 70 mg (equivalent to 7 ml) once/d.
    Moderate to Severe BED in Adults: starting dosage in adults is 30 mg (equivalent to 3 ml) once /d to be titrated in incr. of 20 mg (equivalent to 2 ml) at approx. weekly intervals to achieve target dose of 50 to 70 mg (equivalent to 5 ml to 7 ml) once daily. The max. dosage is 70 mg/once daily (equivalent to 7 ml/once daily).

    • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in pts. ages 6 years and above.
    • Mod. to Sev. Binge Eating Dis.(BED) for pts over 18 years.
    C/I:Hypersens. Known hypersens. to amphetamine prod.     Absorption is affected by food and polyvalent cations.
    To ensure adequate absorption pts. should take this drug
    at least 30 minutes before the first food with tap water and stand or sit upright for at least 30 minutes. See lit.

    C/I:
      Abnormalities of the esophagus which delay esophageal emptying such as stricture or achalasia /Inability to stand or sit upright for at least 30 minutes

    two actuations in each nostril twice daily (morning and evening).
    treatment of moderate to severe nasal symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.
    C/I:
     Hypersens.
    not be used in the presence of untreated localised infection involving
    the nasal mucosa, such as herpes simplex.
    Because of the inhibitory effect of corticosteroids on wound healing, patients who have experienced recent nasal surgery or trauma should not use a nasal corticosteroid until healing has occurred
