Dosage
Isotretinoin should only be prescribed by or under the supervision of physicians with expertise in the use of systemic retinoids for the treatment of severe acne and a full understanding of the risks of isotretinoin therapy and monitoring requirements.
The capsules should be taken with food once or twice daily.
Indications
This medical product is used to treat severe acne that does not respond to other medicinal treatment, such as ointments/creams or antibiotics.
Contra-Indications
* Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to peanuts or
Soya, or to any of the excipients
* Pregnant or suspect you might be pregnant
* Breastfeeding women
* Hepatic insufficiency
* High blood fat levels (such as cholesterol or triglycerides)
* High Vitamin A levels in your body (hypervitaminosis A)
* Receiving concomitant treatment with tetracyclines
