progress during/aft. standard ther. B-cell
CLL. Initial tmt or aft. first line ther., in pts
with suffic. bone marrow reserves.
C/I: Hypersens., impair. ren. funct.
(creatinine clear. < 30 ml/min), decomp.
hemolyt. anem., pregn., lact. See lit.

Fluorouracil 50 mg/ml

Antimetabolite (purine analog). Fluorouracil 50 mg/ml.
VIALS: 1 x 1,000 mg/20 ml. 1 x 5,000
mg/100 ml. See lit.
Palliative in cancer of breast, stomach,
pancreas , colon and rectum.

Litak 10

Antimetabolite (purine analog). Cladribine 10 mg / 5 ml.
VIALS: 1,5. HCL: S.C: 0.14 mg/kg bdy wt/
day (5.6 mg/m2/day) for 5 consec. days.
I.V. (Contin. infus.): Single course for 7
consec. days: 0.09 mg/kg/day (3.6 mg/
m2/day). CLL: S.C: 0.1 mg/kg bdy wt/
day for 5 consec. days (4.0 mg/ m2/
day). I.V: 2 hrs. on days 1-5 of 28 day
cycle at dose of 0.10 mg/kg/day (4.0
mg/m2 /day). Determine pt. response
every 2 cycles of tmt. In respond. pts.
(lymphocyt. reduct. of 50% or more)
repeat for 2 cycles. In non-respond.
pts. discont. aft. 2 cycles.
Hairy cell leuk. (HCL), chronic lymphocyt.
leuk.(CLL), second line tmt. low grade
Non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL).
