Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
For prevention of anemia: 15-30 drops daily.
For treatment of anemia: 45-60 drops daily.
Children:
For prevention of anemia: 1 mg of iron per 1 kg of body weight daily.
Do not exceed a daily dosage of 15 mg of iron in infants below 2 years of age.
Premature infants: 2.5-5 mg of iron (1-2 drops)/kg body weight daily.

Indications
Prevention and treatment of anemia due to latent, manifest iron deficiency.
Contra-Indications
Iron overload, anemia not due to iron deficiency.
