Dosage
The recommended dose is 14 mg once daily.
Indications
For the treatment of adult patients with relapsing remitting forms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to reduce the frequency of clinical relapses and to delay the progression of physical disability.
Contra-Indications
* Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
*Severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class C).
* Pregnant women, or women of childbearing potential, or
during breast-feeding.
* Severe immunodeficiency states, e.g. acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
* Significantly impaired bone marrow function or significant anaemia, leukopenia, neutropenia or thrombocytopenia.
* Severe active infection until resolution.
* Severe renal impairment undergoing dialysis.
* Severe hypoproteinaemia, e.g. in nephrotic syndrome.
