C/I: Hypersens. Preg., lact. Severe hep. impair. Immunologic disord. (e.g. AIDS). Bone marrow disord. (e.g.: anemia, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia). Pts. with severe infec. Pts. with renal impair. that require dialysis. Pts. with hypoproteinemia.

C/I: Hypersens./Pts with sev hepatic impairm. (Child-Pugh class C)/
Pregn. women, or women of childbearing potent. who are not using reliable contraception during tmt with teriflunomide and thereafter as long as its plasma levels are above 0.02 mg/l .Pregn. must be excluded before start of tmt/
Breast-feeding women /Pts with sev. immunodeficiency states, e.g. acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)/ Pts with signif. impaired bone marrow function or signif. anaemia, leukopenia, neutropenia or thrombocytopenia/Pts with sev. active infection until resolution/ Pts with sev. renal impairm. undergoing dialysis, because insuff. clin. experience is available in this patient group/Pts with sev. hypoproteinaemia, e.g. in nephrotic syndr.
