Dosage
Depression: 20 mg per day. The doctor can increase the dosage to up to 40 mg per day.
Anxiety disorder: Starting dosage of 10 mg per day in the first week of treatment and then an increase of the dosage to 20 mg per day. The doctor can increase the dosage to up to 40 mg per day.
Elderly (above 65 years of age): a reduction to half the recommended dosage is necessary: 10 to 20 mg per day. The maximal dosage is 20 mg per day.
Patients with impaired liver function: a reduced dosage is necessary: a maximal dosage of 20 mg per day.
Children and adolescents (below the age of 18): Do not give Recital to
children and adolescents.
Method of administration: Take Recital once a day. The medicine can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.
Indications
Treatment of depression and panic disorders.
Contra-Indications
SSRIs hypersensitivity, concurrent use of MAOI.

Special Precautions
Should be used with caution in patients with history of mania, and discontinued if a patient enters a mania phase. Close supervision of high-risk patients should accompany initial drug therapy. Patients should be cautioned about operating hazardous machinery, including motor vehicles, until they are reasonably certain that Recital therapy does not affect their ability to engage in such activities. Patients with a history of seizures disorders. Use during pregnancy and lactation only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risks.

Side Effects
Syndrome of inappropriate anti diuretic hormone secretion, nausea, somnolence, dry mouth, sweating, tremor, headache, nervousness, dizziness, agitation, constipation, diarrhea, palpitation, abnormal visual accommodation, asthenia.
