Dosage
Adults and elderly: Usual starting dosage is one caplet (400mg) 3 times a day. Dosage may be reduced to one caplet twice a day.
Patients with kidney problems: Dose should be adjusted.
Children: Oxopurin is not intended for treatment in children. See lit.
Indications
Treatment of disorders of arterial and venous circulation.
Contra-Indications
Pregnancy, hypersensitivity to pentoxifylline, other methylxanthines or any other excipients this medicine contains; heart problems or recent heart attack; severe heart rhythm disorder; stomach or gastrointestinal ulcers; hemorrhage or cerebral hemorrhage (including stroke accompanied by cerebral bleeding) or in the eye.
