Dosage
Administer 60 mg/kg body weight once weekly by intravenous infusion.

Indications
For chronic augmentation and maintenance therapy in individuals with congenital deficiency of alpha1-proteinase inhibitor (Alpha1-PI), also known as alpha1-antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency and clinical evidence of emphysema.
Contra-Indications
Immunoglobulin A (IgA) deficient patients with antibodies against IgA. Individuals with a history of severe immediate hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, to Alpha1-PI products.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy and lactation: Pregnancy Category C: Should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed. Caution should be exercised when administered to a nursing woman.
