Dosage
Take with or without food, with full glass water. Titrate over a few days to maximum dose of 1,800 mg in 24 hours in 3 divided doses. Discontinue gradually over minimum of 1 week.

Indications
As adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in adults with epilepsy. For the treatment of neuropathic pain in diabetic neuropathy or post-herpetic neuropathy (neuralgia).
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Special Precautions
Suicidal ideation and behavior; acute pancreatitis. Caution is advised when driving or using machines.

Side Effects
Viral infections, somnolence, dizziness, ataxia, fatigue, fever.
