Donepezil Teva 5 mg, 10 mg

The usual dosage is: Generally, as a starting dosage 5 mg once daily at night before bed time. After one month, the dose may be increased to 10 mg. The maximum  recommended dosage is 10 mg each night.
The tablet cannot be halved, as there is no score line. There is no information regarding crushing or grinding the tablets.

Treatment of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s dementia.

Hypersensitivity to active substance, piperidine derivatives or to any of the excipients of the drug.
