Dosage
Gently apply a thin layer of cream on the affected area 4 times a day. During treatment, the dosage should be gradually decreased, in accordance with the doctor’s recommendation.
Do not extend treatment for more than 3 weeks in infants or children under 4 years of age, especially on areas covered by diapers.
Indications
Dermatitis associated with bacterial infections.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to components. Infections due to anerobes, T.B. of skin, herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella. Not for ophthalmic use. Patients with pheochromocytoma.
Special Precautions
Asthma, peptic ulcer. Not to be given concomitantly with antihistamines.
Side Effects
Itching, redness, irritation.
Drug interactions
Other aminoglycosides, vancomycin, some cephalosporins. Loop diuretics, anticholinesterases, lactitol. Muscle relaxants, β-lactam antibiotics.
