episodes: 90-120 μg/kg bdy wt./single
dose I.V. bolus inject. Initial: every 2-3
hrs., then 4-12 hrs. Surg: 90 μg (4.5
KIU)/kg bdy. wt. initially. Repeat every
2-4 hrs as necess.
Serious bleed. events, diagnostic, surg. in
pts. with inhibit. to coag. factors (FVIII or
FIX). Tmt. bleed. episode in congen. FVII
defic. and in Glanzmann’s
thrombasthenia with antibodies.
C/I: Known sens. to mouse, hamster or
bovine protein.
