AMPS: 1, 10 x 1 ml x 50 mg/ml; 1, 10 x 2
ml x 50 mg/ml. 50-150 mg I.M. May
need to repeat after 24-48 hrs. Maint:
Cont. with Clopixol oral or depot. See
lit. Elderly: May have to reduce. Child:
Not recommend.
Initial tmt. acute psychoses.
C/I: As for other neuroleptics., intol. to
thioxanthenes. See lit.

Antipsychotic. Zuclopenthixol (decanoate) 200 mg/ml, 500 mg/ml.
AMPS: 1, 10 x 1 ml x 200 mg, 1, 5 x 1 ml
x 500 mg. Deep I.M. initially: 200 mg
every 2-4 wks. Maint: 200-400 mg
every 2-4 wks. See lit. Elderly: May
have to reduce. Child: not
recommend.
Maint. tmt. acute schizophren. and other
psychoses espec. where oral med. a
problem.
C/I: As for other neuroleptics., intol. to
thioxanthenes. See lit.

= 1 mg). 20-30 mg dly. in div. doses.
Maint: 20-50 mg dly. Max: 150 mg dly.

TABS.: 30. Init. ther.: 3-5 tabs. dly.
In 2 or 3 divid. doses may prove suffic.
The dly. oral dose may be incr. to a
max. of 360 mg in divid. doses, espec.
in cases of agitat./excit. The init.
dosage may be given for periods of
wks. or even mths.
Maint. and long-term tmt.: 20-160 mg
dly. per os in 2 to 3 divid. doses in
underweight pts., pts. with liver or
kidney dis. and in elder. pts., lower init.
doses and a grad. dosage inc. are
indic.
Tmt. of severe mental and emot. disord.
(Neuroleptic).
C/I: Hypersens. Comatose state or
severe CNS depress. High doses or
abrupt changes in pts. suscept. To
convuls.

Antipsychotic. Fluphenazine (decanoate) 25 mg/ml.
AMPS: 5 x 1 ml x 25 mg. Initial: 12.5 mg
foll. by 25 mg at intervals from 15-35
days.
Maint. tmt. psychotic disords. specially
schizophren.
C/I: Aterioscler., Parkinsonism, renal or
liver fail., card. defects. See lit. Not for
child under 12 yrs.
