in cases of agitat./excit. The init.
dosage may be given for periods of
wks. or even mths.
Maint. and long-term tmt.: 20-160 mg
dly. per os in 2 to 3 divid. doses in
underweight pts., pts. with liver or
kidney dis. and in elder. pts., lower init.
doses and a grad. dosage inc. are
indic.
Tmt. of severe mental and emot. disord.
(Neuroleptic).
C/I: Hypersens. Comatose state or
