Antifungal. Terbinafine Hydrochloride 1 % w/w. Cream:15 g, 30 g X 1%. Apply 1X or 2X dly. See lit.
Fungal infect. of the skin in pts. aged 12 and over caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (e.g. T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidemophyton floccosum.
Yeast infect. of the skin caused by Candida (e.g. Candida albicans)
Pityriasis (tinea versicolor) due to Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur).
Plantar-type tinea pedis (moccasin type).
