Important limit. of use: should not be used in type 1 diab. or for diab. ketoacid., as it would not be effec. Has not been studied in pts. with a hist. of pancreatitis. It is unknown whether they are at incr. risk for the develop. of pancreat. while using this drug
C/I: Sev. renal impairm. (eGFR below 30 mL/min/1.73 m²)-
Diab. ketoacid.- Type 1 diab.- Hist. of serious hypersens. react. to this drug, sitagliptin, or metformin, such as anaphylaxis or angioedema.
