Antifungal. Itraconazole 100 mg. CAPS: 14. Pityrias. versicolor: 200 mg
2 x dly for 7 days; tinea corporis,
-cruris: 200 mg 2 x dly for 7 days or 100
mg 2 x dly for 15 days; tinea pedis,
-manuum: 100 mg 2 x dly for 30 days
or 200 mg 2 x dly for 7 days;
onychomycos. pulse tmt: 200 mg 2 x
dly for 1 wk. foll. by 3 drug free wks.
Fingernail infects: 2 pulses
recommend; toenail infects 3 pulses
recommend., or contin. tmt: 200 mg 2 x
dly for 3 mths. All aft. full meal.
Tmt. onychomycosis caused by
dermatophytes and/or yeasts,
dermatomycosis, incl. tinea pedis, -cruris,
-versicolor, -manuum.
Antifungal. Itraconazole 10 mg/ml. ORAL SOLN: 150 ml. Oropharyngeal.
Candidiasis: 20 ml dly for 1-2 wks.;
pts. unrespons./refractory to tmt.
with fluconazole tabs: 10 ml bid.
Esophageal candidiasis: 10 ml dly for
min. of 3 wks. Continue tmt. for 2 wks.
foll. resolution of sympts. Up to 20 ml/
day depend. on pts. response to ther.
Proph. fungal infects: 5 mg/kg dly div.
into 2 doses.
Tmt. oropharyngeal and esophageal
candidiasis, prevent. of fungal
infect. during neutropenia in
immunodeficient pts.
