Antifungal. Anidulafungin 100 mg. Vial. Pwder. for conc. for sol. for inf.. 1 X 100 mg
Adlts: A sgle 200 mg loading dose to be admin. on Day 1, then 100 mg daily thereafter. Duration of tmt to be based on the patient’s response. In gral, antifungal ther. should continue for at least 14 days after the last positive culture but no longer than 35 d.
Paed. pop.: A sgle loading dose of 3.0 mg/kg (not to exceed 200 mg) to be admin. on Day 1 then a daily dose of 1.5 mg/kg (not to exceed 100 mg) thereafter. Duration of tmt to be based on the patient’s response. In gral, antifungal ther. should continue for at least 14 days after the last positive culture.
Tmt of invasive candidiasis in adlts and paed. pts aged 1 month to < 18 years
C/I: Hypersens., incl to echinocandin class.
