Indications
Infections of ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract, skin, genital infections (except gonococcal infections), caused by susceptible organisms.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, concomitant use with ergot derivatives, cisapride, astemizole or terfenadine.

Special Precautions
Should not be used in children under 4 years of age. In severe hepatic insufficiency (e.g. hepatic cirrhosis with jaundice and/or ascites), the dosage should be reduced by half (150 mg once a day). Pregnancy and lactation: The safety for the fetus has not been established in pregnancy. Breastfeeding or treatment of the mother should be discontinued as necessary, because of the risk to the infant.

Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, diarrhea very rarely bloody. Rash, urticaria, angio-edema, exceptionally: purpura, bronchospasm, anaphylactic shock. Dizzy sensations, headache, tiredness and paraesthesia. Possibility of fungal overgrowth.
