Dosage
Apply 1-2 drops to lesion and allow to dry. In the following evening remove the
elastic film and reapply the gel. Repeat for ±12 weeks.
Indications
Topical treatment of warts, corns, callouses.
Contra-Indications
Diabetes, impaired blood circulation, face, anogen. regions, moles, other skin lesions, hypersens. to compon. or salicylates. Do not use with other keratolytic drugs.
Special Precautions
• Keep away from the eyes, mucous membranes and from cuts and
grazes.
• Should be applied carefully to the wart, corn or callus only, to
avoid possible irritation of surrounding normal skin.
• Do not use excessively.
• Some mild, transient irritation may be expected, but in cases of more
severe or persistent pain/irritation, the treatment should be suspended
and/or discontinued.
• Avoid inhaling vapour, and keep cap firmly closed when not in use.
• Contact with clothing, fabrics, plastics and other materials may cause
damage, and should be avoided.
• For external use only.
• Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
Side Effects
May be irritant in certain patients, which in rare instances may appear as a temporary blemish on the skin.

Pregnancy and Lactation
Pregnancy: There are no or limited amount of data from the use of this medical product during pregnancy.
This medical product should not be used during pregnancy, except for short-term treatment of a small single wart, corn or callus.
It is not known if the systemic exposure reached after topical administration can be harmful to an embryo/fetus.
During the third trimester of pregnancy, systemic use of prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors may induce cardiopulmonary and renal toxicity in the fetus. At the end of the pregnancy prolonged bleeding time in both mother and child may occur, and labour can be delayed.
Overdose
Any excessive use could cause irritation of the skin. If this occurs, Salatac Gel should be used more sparingly or applied less frequently.
