Dosage
Use in children aged 12 years and older, and in adults:
The standard dosage is usually: One lozenge every 3 to 4 hours, as required. Do not exceed 6 lozenges in a 24 hour period.
Use in children (6-12 years of age):This medicine is not intended for children under 6 years of age.

Do not exceed 4 lozenges in a 24 hour period.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use the medicine for longer than 5 consecutive days.
Indications
This medicine is intended for the fast relief of severe sore throat and for relief of mouth and throat infections.
Contra-Indications
Do not use if you are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredients, to other anesthetic substances or to any of the other ingredients the medicine contains.
Do not use in children under the age of 6 years.
Special Precautions
– Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long period, without consulting your doctor.
– If you are sensitive to any type of food or medicine, inform your doctor before using this medicine.
– Consult your doctor if you suffer from a severe, persistent sore throat (longer than 5 days) and/or accompanied by fever, headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
– The anesthetic action of the medicine may make it difficult to swallow or cause you to bite your tongue, therefore caution should be employed when using it. Likewise, do not use the medicine before chewing and/or drinking. Avoid eating as long as the anesthesia (numbness) feeling exists.
– Consecutive use beyond 5 days may modify the natural balance of flora in the
mouth and to increase the risk of bacterial or fungal infection.
– Too frequent or prolonged use of the medicine may cause side effects as a result of absorption of the anesthetic substance, including convulsions or impairment of cardiovascular (heart and blood vessels) system.
– The lidocaine in the medicine may lead to an erroneous result in the doping test, sometimes administered to athletes.
– The medicine contains the sweetener xylitol and does not contain sugar; therefore it is permitted for use by diabetics.
