Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age: One tablet every 12 hours as needed, or an initial dose of 2 tablets per day. Do not exceed a total daily dose od 2 tablets.
Over 65 years of age: Up to 1.5 tablets per day.
This medicine is generally not recommended for children under the 12 years of age.
Directions for use: Do not chew! Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Take this medicine with or after a meal.
Indications
Rheumatic, musculoskeletal and soft tissue inflammation.

Special Precautions
Risk of GI ulceration, bleeding and perforation. Patients on prolonged corticosteroid therapy should have their therapy tapered slowly if a decision is made to discontinue corticosteroids. Should not be administered to patients with aspirin sensitivity, use with caution in patients with pre-existing asthma. See package insert (OTC).
Side Effects
Dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence.

Drug interactions
Lithium, coumarin anticoagulants, heparin, other NSAIDs, ketorolac. ACE inhibitors, thiazide diuretics, antihypertensives. Oral hypoglycemics, methotrexate, cardiac glycosides, spironolactone, corticosteroids, cimetidine, cyclosporin. Phenobarbitone, mifepristone, quinolones, potassium supplements, salt substitutes, phenylpropanolamine, sulphonamides, phenytoin, β-blockers.
