Dosage
For the treatment of anemia: 1-3 tablets a day.
For the prevrntion of anemia and for maintaining the level of folic acid: 1 tablet a day.
This medicine is not usually intended for infants and children under 6 years of age.
Indications
Anaemia, maintenance of folic acid level particularly in pregnancy.
Contra-Indications
See package insert (OTC).
Drug interactions
Tetracyclines, quinolones, mineral supplements, antacids, penicillamine, methotrexate, phenytoin.
