Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: Esomed gel should be as a thin layer of gel, to hyperpigmented, small surfaces.
Always avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Starting with one application per day for 10 or 15 days exclusively on the stain and continue treatment with two applications daily, once in the morning and once in the overnight.
If improvement is not observed after 2 months of treatment, this should be
discontinued.
The duration of treatment is recommended for 60 to 90 days.
This medicine should not be used under any circumstancesfor more than 6 months.
Indications
To lighten skin spots.
Contra-Indications
Prior history of sensitivity or allergic reaction to hydroquinone or to any of the ingredients of the product.
The safety of topical hydroquinone use during pregnancy or for children (12 years and under) has not been established. Therefore Esomed gel should not be used in children under 12 years of old.
Esomed gel is contraindicated for the treatment of hyperpigmentation as chemical ochronosis and degeneration colloid (colloid milium), both from employment as cosmetic.
