Dosage
Adults: 250-500 mg every 8 hours.
Children: 20-40 mg/kg body weight daily in divided doses every 8 hours.
Indications
Infections caused by susceptible organisms including: Lower respiratory tract, otitis media, sinusitis, acute pharyngitis, urinary tract, skin & soft tissues infections.
Contra-Indications
Pregnancy 1st, 3rd trimester, lactation, sensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, ampicillin.
