    Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) vaccine. Tick-Borne Encephalitis Virus 2.4 mcg.
    PRE-FILLED SYR. (susp. for inj.): 1. The 1st & 2nd dose should be given at a 1-3 month interval. If there is a need to achieve an immune response rapidly, the 2nd dose may be given two weeks after the 1st dose. After the 1st two doses suffic. protect. for the ongoing tick season is to be expected.
    The 3rd dose should be given 5 to 12 mnths. after the 2nd vaccin. After the 3rd dose protection is expected to last for at least 3 yrs.
    1st dose, 0.5 ml on the elected date 2nd  dose, 0.5 ml -1 to 3 mnths. after the 1st vaccine. (rapid vaccin. schedule -14 days after the 1st vaccin.).
    3rd dose, 0.5 ml- 5 to 12 mnths. after the 2nd vaccin. (rapid vaccin. schedule- 5 to 12 mnths. after the 2nd vaccin.).
    Booster doses: Persons from 16-60 yrs. of age: The 1st booster dose should be given 3 yrs. after the third dose.
    Sequent. booster doses should be given every 5 yrs. after the last booster dose.
    Booster dose 16 to<60 yrs.: 1st booster  0.5 ml -3 years after the 3rd vaccin.
    Sequent. booster doses 0.5 ml every 5 yrs.
    Booster dose ≥ 60 yrs.: All booster doses 0.5 ml - every 3 yrs.
    Active (prophylactic) immunization of adolescents from 16 years of age and adults against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE).
    The vaccine is to be given on the basis of official recommendations regarding the need for, and timing of, vaccination against TBE.
    C/I: Hypersens. Cross allergies with aminoglycosides other than neomycin and gentamycin.
    Severe hypersens. egg, chick proteins (anaphyl. reaction after oral ingest. of egg protein) may cause severe allergic react. in sensitized individ.
    TBE vaccine. should be postponed if the person is suffer. from a moder. or severe acute illness (with/without fever).

    Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) vaccine. Tick-Borne Encephalitis Virus 1.2 mcg.
    PRE-FILLED SYR. (susp. for inj.): 1. The primary vaccine. schedule is the same for all persons from 1- 15 yrs. of age and consists of three doses of this vaccine.
    The 1st and 2nd dose should be given at a 1-3 mnth. interval.
    If there is a need to achieve an immune response rapidly, the 2nd dose may be given two wks. after the 1st dose. After the 1st two doses a sufficient protect. for the ongoing tick season is to be expected.
    The 3rd dose should be given 5-12 mnths. after the 2nd vaccinat. After the 3rd dose protect. is expected to last for at least 3 yrs. See lit.
