    TABS.: 30 x 25mg, 50mg, 100mg.

    The dose must always be adjust. to individ. requirement. of the pts., with the lowest possible start. dosage.

    Ang.: initial. 50mg ×1/d, the dosage being incr. gradual. to 100mg after 1 wk., as needed and tolerated.

    M.I.: For pts who present some days after suffering an acute MI , an oral dose of Normalol 100 mg dly. is recomm. for long-term prophylaxis of MI.

    Hypertens.: initial. 25-50 mg ×1/d, the dosage being incr.  gradual. to 100 mg a day after 2 wks. as needed and tolerated.

    Elderly: dosage requirem. may be reduced especial.  in pts. with impaired renal funct.  See lit.

    Pts. with: known hypersens. to act. substan., cardiogenic shock., uncontrol.  HF.,

    sick sinus syndr., 2nd or 3rd degree heart block., untreated phaeochromocytoma.,

    metabolic acidosis., bradycard. (<45 bpm)., hypotens., Severe peripher.  arterial circulat.  disturbance. See lit.
