C/I: Pts. with known hypersens. (includ. severe dizziness or hypotens.) to selegiline.
Pts. receiv. tmt. with serotonin-agon. (e.g. sumatriptan, naratriptan, zolmitriptan, rizatriptan).
Concomit.use with pethidine, other opioids.
Pts. who are being treat. with antidepress. drugs, includ. MAO inhib.,TCA, SNRI's (venlafaxine), SSRI's(e.g citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline.
Concomit. use with MAO inhib.( e.g. linezolid).
Concomit. use with sympathomimetics.
Pts.with active duoden. or gastric ulc.
Pts. with other extrapyramid. disord. not related to dopamine defic.
