Long Acting Insulin. Insulin Glargine 100 U/ml.
Cartridge (sol. for inj.): 5×3 ml
Pre-filled Pen (sol.for inj.): 5 ×3 ml
Should be admin. once dly. at any time but at the same time each day.
Dose regimen should be individ. adjust. In pts. with type 2 diabetes mell., the drug can also be given together with orally active antidiabetic med. products.
The potency of this med. product is stated in units. These units are exclusive to insulin glargine and are not the same as IU or the units used to express the potency of other insulin analog. See lit.
Tmt. of adult pts. 18 yrs. and over with type 1 or type 2 diabetes mell. who require basal (long act.) insulin for the control of hyperglycaem.

Human Glucagon-Like Peptide-1, Long Acting Insulin. Insulin Glargine 100 UN, Lixisenatide 50 mcg / 33 mcg.
PREF. SYR. ( Sol. for inj.): 1×3 ml. Dosage must be ajust. individ. See lit. Indicated in comb.  with metformin for the tmt. of adult. with type 2 diab. mell. to improve glycemic control when this has not been provided by metformin alone or metformin comb. with another oral glucose low. med. product or with basal insulin.
C/I: Hypersens.

PRE -FILLED PEN: 1, 3, 5×1.5ml. Pts. with type 1 diab. mell.: used oncedly. with meal-time and requires individ. dose adjust. Pts. with type 2 diab. mell.: Recomm. dly. start. dose is 0.2 units/kg follow. by individ. dose adjust. See lit.
