Disease Modifying Agent. Leflunomide 10 mg, 20 mg. TABS: 30, 100 x 10 mg, 20 mg.
Active rheum. arthrit: Load. dose: 100
mg 1 x dly for 3 days. Maint: 10 mg or
20 mg 1 x dly. Psoriat. arthrit: 20 mg
dly.
Active rheum. arthrit: To reduce signs and
sympts., to inhibit structural damage,
erosions, joint space narrow., to improve
physical funct. Tmt. of active psoriatic
arthrit.
C/I: Hypersens. (especially prev.
Stevens-Johnson syndr., tox. epider.
necrolysis, erythema multiforme) or to
teriflunomide.
Pts. with: liver impair., severe
immunodefic. states, (e.g. AIDS), signif.
bone marrow impair. func., signif.
anaemia, leucopenia, neutropenia or
thrombocytopenia due to causes other
than rheumat./ psor. arthritis. Pts.with
serious infec. Pts.with moder.- severe
renal insuf. Pts.with severe
hypoproteinaemia, (e.g. in nephrotic
syndr.).
Preg., lact. WOCBP who are not using
reliable contracep.during tmt. with
leflunomide .
