titrat. recommend. (start with 10 mg in
even. and 5 mg in morn and mid-day
doses.) Titrat. up to 10 mg 3 x dly for
pts. not respond. adequately. Sjogren’s
dis: 5 mg 4 x dly.
Radiat. induced xerostomia, Sjogren
detected by biopsy.

Radiation induced xerostomia, Sjogren’s

C/I: Preg., lact. Hypersens. Pts. under 18
yrs. of age. Untreated asthma or chron.
obstruct. of the respir. system, eye
inflame., glaucoma. Untreated kidney,
heart dis.Chron. dis. treated with
medicines that act similarly to this
