5-HT1 Agonist. Zolmitriptan 2.5 mg.
TABS: 3, 6 x 2.5 mg. 2.5 mg as soon as
possible aft. onset attack. If sympts.
persist or return repeat dose at
interval of at least 2 hrs. If inad. incr. to
5 mg dose for subsequent attacks.
Recur. attacks: Max: 15 mg in 24 hrs.
Not for proph. of attacks.
Acute migraine with/without aura.
C/I: Hypersens., uncontrolled
hypertens., coron. art. dis.

migraine attack: To be placed on
tongue and swallowed with pts. saliva.
If sympt. persist or return within 24
hrs. admin. a second dose only after 2
hrs. of the init. dose. If satisfactory
relief is not achieved with 2.5 mg,
admin. 5 mg doses. Total intake in 24
hrs. not to exceed 15 mg. Not
indicated for migraine proph. Not to
be used in child and elderly aged over
65 yrs. Hepat. impair: Max. dose: 5
mg/24 hrs. Renal impair: No dosage
adjust. req. See lit.
Acute tmt. migraine with/without aura.
C/I: Known hypersens. to any comp. of
the product; uncontrolled hypertens.
