TABS: 30, 90, 120 x 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg.
Start dose: Up to 4 mg dly (max. 16 mg)
with main meal.
Type 2 diabetes.
C/I: Pregn., plan to become pregn., lact.,
und. 12 yrs, type 1 diabetes (insulin
depend.), diabet. ketoacidos.,
hypersens., severe hepat. funct. disord.

Meglitinide Derivative. Repaglinide 0.5, 1, 2 mg.
TABS.: 90. The usual init. dose is 0.5 mg before each main meal. Swallow the tabs. with a glass of water immediat. before or up to 30 min. before each main meal. The dose may be adjust., up to 4 mg, to be taken immediate. before or up to 30 min. before each main meal. The max. recomm. dly. dose is 16 mg. Treatment of type II diabetes.
C/I: Hypersens. Pts. with type 1 diabetes. Pts. with diabetic ketoacidosis. Severe hep. dis. Concomt. use with gemfibrozil. Preg. Lact.

TABS.:30, 90,120. Ususual. initial. dose is 0.5 mg, 30 min. before each main meal, with a glass of water. Max. dly. dose 16 mg. See Lit.
Indicated for adult. with type 2 diab.  mell. whose hyperglycaemia can no longer be control.  satisfactorily by diet, weight reduct. and exercise.
Also indicated in comb.  with metformin in adults with type 2 diab. mell.who are not satisfactorily control.  on metformin alone.
Tmt. should be initiated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to lower the blood glucose in relat. to meals.
C/I: Hypersens. Pts. wth type 1 diab. Pts. with diab. ketoacid. Sev. liver dis. Concom.  use with gemfibrozil.
