sev. pain require. the use of a strong
opioid.
C/I: Pts. with known hypersens. to
oxycodone or any other opioid., resp.
depress. injury; paral. ileus; acute
abdomen; COPD; cor pulmonale; chron.
bronch. asth. hypercarbia; moder./sev.
hep. impair., sev. renal impair. (CrCl <10
ml/min); chron. constip., concur.
administ. of MAOIs or within 2 weeks of
discount. of their use; pregn.
Opioid. Oxycodone HCl 10 mg / 5 ml. SYR: (Tutti frutti flavour): 50 ml. (immed.
release). Individ. accord to pt. See lit.
Mod. to severe pain.
Opioid. Oxycodone HCl 10, 20, 40, 80 mg. C.R. TABS: 20 ×, 10 mg, 20 mg, 40mg, 80 mg. Dosage should be ajust. accord. severity of pain, every 12 hrs.

Pts with: Respirat. depress., head injur., known or suspect. paralyt. ileus and GI obstruct., acute abdom., delayed gast. empt., COPD, cor pulmonale, sev. bronch. asthm., hypercarbia, mod.- sev. hep. impair., sev. ren. impair. (CrCl<10 ml/min), chron. constip., concur. admin. of MAO’s inhib. or within 2 wks. of discount. of their use. Not recomm. for pre-operat. use or for the first 24 hrs. post-operat.
Preg.
Analgesic, Antipyretic, Opioid. Oxycodone HCl 5 mg, 10 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg. TABS.: 10, 20 × 5. 1 tab. every 6
hrs. Max daily dose 12 tabs. The total
dly. dose of paracetamol should not
exceed 4 g.
TABS.: 10, 20 × 10mg. 1 tab. every 6
hrs. Max daily dose 6 tabs. The total
dly. dose of paracetamol should not
exceed 4 g.
Relief mod-moderately severe pain.
C/I: Hypersens. to oxycodone,
paracetamol. Pts. with significant respir.
depress.(in unmonitor. settings or the
absence of resuscitative equip.) and pts.
with acute/sev. bronch. asthma or
hypercarbia. Known/susp. paralytic
ileus.
Opioid. Oxycodone HCl 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 mg, Naloxone HCl 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 mg. P.R. TABS: 20 x 5 (oxycodone HCl 5 mg/naloxone HCl 2.5 mg); 10 (10 mg oxycodone HCl, 5 mg naloxone HCl); 20 (20 mg oxycodone HCl, 10 mg naloxone HCl); 30 (oxycodone HCL 30 mg, naloxone HCL 15 mg) 40 (oxycodone HCl 40 mg, naloxone HCl 20 mg). The analg. efficacy is equiv. to oxycodone HCL prolong. -release formul. The dosage should be adjust. to the intens. of pain and the sensitive. of the individ. pt.
Indic. for the relief of moder. -severe pain. The oxycodone compon. is indicated for the relief of moder.- sev. pain in adult. who require contin. around the-clock opioid analgesia for several days or more.
The opioid antag. naloxone is added to counteract opioid-induc. constip. by blocking the action of oxycodone at opioid recept. local. in the gut.
C/I: Hypersens. Severe respire. depress. with hypox. and/or hypercapnia. Severe COPD. Cor pulmonale. Severe bronch. asthma. Non-opioid induc. paralytic ileus. Moder.-sev. hep. impair.
