Analgesic, Antipyretic. Dipyrone 500 mg. ORAL DROPS: 10 ml, 15 ml x 500 mg/1
ml. 25-50 drops up to 4 x dly. Child:
3-11 mths (5-8 kg): 2-6 drops; 1-3 yrs
(9-15 kg): 4-12 drops; 4-6 yrs (16-12 kg):
6-19 drops; 7-9 yrs (24-30 kg): 10-25
drops; 10-12 yrs (31-45 kg) 12-37 drops;
13-14 yrs (46-53 kg): 19-44 drops. All 4
x dly. Under 3 mths: Not recommend.
TABS: 20 x 500 mg.
CAPLETS: 21, 42 x 500 mg. Adults and
over 15 yrs: 1-2 tabs/caplets up to 4 x
dly. Not to exceed 8 dly.
Relief of mod. to severe pain.
Analgesic, Antipyretic. Dipyrone 1 g / 2 ml. AMPS: 5, 10, 100 x 1 g/2 ml. Adults and adolesc. over 14 yrs: I.V. (as analges.): 1 g (2 ml) by slow inject. up to 4 x dly. Severe
pain: 2.5 g (5 ml) 2 x dly. Max. dly dose:
5 g. I.M. (as antipyretic): 2.5 g (5 ml).
Repeat only if nec. Inf under 3 mths/5
kg not recommend. 3-5 mths: 0.1 ml
I.M. Max. dly dose: 4 x 0.2 ml; 6-11
mths: 0.1 ml I.M. Max. dly dose: 4 x 0.3 ml; 1-2 yrs: 0.2 ml I.M./I.V. Max. dly

dly dose: 4 x 1.6 ml.
Analgesic by I.V. for relief severe and
acute pain when oral tmt. not feasible/
suit. I.M. to lower temp. in lifethreatening
situations.
C/I: Hypersens., pregn., lact., acute
porphyria, G6PD defic., history bld.
dyscrasias., acute bone marrow
suppress.

Adult. & adolesc.>15 yrs. (wt.>53 kg): 20-40 dr., up to 3 times a d.Child.:
3-11 mnths. (5-8 kg) 2-4 dr., up to 3/d.
1 - 3 yrs. (9 – 15kg) 3 - 10 dr., up to 3/d.4 - 6 yrs. (16 – 23kg) 5 - 15 dr., up to 3/d.
7 - 9 yrs. (24 – 30 kg) 8 - 20 dr., up to 3/ d.
10 - 12 yrs. (31 – 45 kg) 10 - 30 dr., up to to 3/d.
13 - 14 yrs. (46 – 53 kg) 15 - 35 dr., up to 3/d. Should be taken at 6-8 hr. intervals. Not more than three doses in 24 hrs.

hematopoietic syst. dis., ac. intermittent hep. porphyria
