Bisphosphonate. Alendronic Acid 70 mg, Cholecalciferol 140 mcg.
TABS: 4. 1 tab 1 x wkly at least 1/2 hr.
bef. first food, beverage or medicat. of
day, with full glass plain water only, to
be swallowed whole, in upright
position. Not to lie down for at least 30
mins. and until after first food.
Tmt. osteoporos. in postmenopaus.
women, to reduce incidence fractures
hip and spine, to incr. bone mass in men
with osteoporos.
C/I: Esophag. abnorms, inability to
stand/sit upright for at least 30 mins.,
hypocalcem., hypersens. See lit.
