Dosage
Adults: 1-2 capsules every 4-6 hours until the symptoms disappear.
Children aged 3 to 14 years: 1 or 2 sachets every 6 hours until the symptoms disappear.
Children under 3 years: 1 sachet every 6 hours until the symptoms disappear.
Indications
This formulation is a medical device used to restore the physiological function of the intestinal walls. It is specially formulated to control and reduce the symptoms associated with diarrhea resulting from various causes, such as abdominal tension and frequent defecation. It is effective within 12 hours.
Contra-Indications
This formulation should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to gelatin tannate or any other ingredient of the product.
Special Precautions
The consultation of a healthcare professional before using the product is not necessary. However, such consultation is advisable in case of severe or persistent symptoms or when there are doubts on the diagnosis, mainly in children below 3 years and elderly people.
In case of diarrhea in children below 3 years, mainly when other symptoms are present, we recommend to consult your healthcare professional.
It‘s recommended abundant liquid intake and the usual dietary measures used in the management of diarrhea (oral rehydration).
Even though no side effects are known, it is recommended that the product is not used during pregnancy or in the early months of breastfeeding. In any case, always consult your doctor beforehand.
Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the package.
