Indications
In combination with acetylsalicylic acid, this medicinal product is indicated for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (unstable angina or acute myocardial infarction) undergoing primary or planned catheterisation, with or without stent implantation.
Contra-Indications
* Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of its excipients.
* Active bleeding (such as bleeding from an ulcer in gastro intestinal system).
* History of a stroke or a transient ischemic attack (TIA).
* Severe hepatic disease.
