Apply to affected area 3-4 times a day.

Local relief of post-herpetic neuralgia and painful peripheral diabetic neuropathy.

None known.

External use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. When using capsaicin to treat neuralgia due to herpes zoster, it should not be applied to the skin until after the zoster lesions have healed. If the patient’s condition worsens or does not improve after 28 days, discontinuation should be considered. Not to be used on broken or irritated skin. Hypersensitivity to casaicin or to the fruits of capsicum plants (e.g. peppers).
