Dosage
Adults and children aged over 12 years: 20-40 drops, 3 times per day.
Children: In children aged 1 month up to 1 year, Tinden drops should be used only according to the doctor’s recommendation.
The commonly used daily dose is: 2 drops/kg body weight per day, divided into 3 doses.
1 month – 1 year / 4.5 – 15 kg 3-10: drops, 3 times per day.
1-3 years / 15 – 22.5 kg: 10-15 drops, 3 times per day.
3-12 years / 22.5 – 30 kg: 15-20 drops, 3 times per day.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Tinden drops are heat-sensitive. Therefore, add the drops into a lukewarm feeding bottle at the last moment.
If the child is already able to eat with a spoon, give him/her the drops undiluted with a teaspoon.
If you have forgotten to take a dose: Take Tinden drops as soon as you remember, unless the next dose is due in less than 2 hours. In this case, you should not take the forgotten dose, but take the next dose at the usual time according to the dosage schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Indications
Tinden drops is an anti-pruritic, antihistamine and antiallergic medicine.
Contra-Indications
Do not use this medicine:
If you are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredient dimetindene maleate or to any of the other ingredients that this medicine contains.
In infants below the age of 1 month, especially preterm infants.
Special Precautions
glaucoma, urinary retention (for example, due to enlargement of the prostate gland), epilepsy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or any other illness.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Lactation: Taking Tinden drops is not recommended during the breastfeeding period.
Important notes
Storage: Store the medicine in a cool place below 25˚C. Do not freeze.
Shelf life after first opening: 3 months.
