Dosage
Apply twice daily, once in the morning and once at night. To be effective, silicone gel should be placed over the scar for 12 hours a day for two to three months. For bigger or older scars, longer treatment may be necessary. This product can only be applied after the wound has healed (or stitches removed) and the skin surface is intact.
Indications
Management of hypertrophic scarring and keloids: This medicinal product is intended to flatten, soften and smooth scars, relieve the itching, pain and discomfort of scars and reduce any associated redness.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to any of the product’s excipients;
Open wounds;
Third degree burn wounds;
Mucosa tissue;
Dermatological conditions disrupt the integrity of the skin.
