3 tablets on the first day, followed by 2 tablets 3 times a day, with meals.

Indications
Prevention and treatment of calcium oxalate stones.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity, severe renal impairment, hyperphosphatemia, urolithiasis.
Special Precautions
Patients with kidney stones should be warned of the possibility of passing old stones at the start of phosphate therapy. Monitor renal function, serum calcium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. Alcohol, smoking and excessive exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.

Side Effects
Discomfort, pain or fullness in the upper abdomen. These may be overcome by increasing the dosage gradually. Nausea and vomiting may occur at the beginning of treatment. Headaches, dizziness, seizures, weakness or fatigue, numbness, tingling or swelling of hands or legs, and thirst.
