Dosage
Children and adolescents 4 months old to 16 years old: Place approximately half a cm (pea size) of gel on the tip of a clean finger, and massage into the affected area.
Treatment may be repeated every 3-4 hours, but not more than 6 times a day. Do not use more than 1/4 tube a day (which is 2.5 g of gel, containing about 220 mg choline salicylate).
Adults: Place 1-1.5 cm of gel on the tip of a clean finger, and massage into the affected area.
Treatment may be repeated every 3-4 hours, but not more than 6 times a day.
This medication is not usually intended for infants below the age of 4 months.
Indications
Teething pains, mouth ulcers, denture irritation, cold sores.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to salicylates.

Drug interactions
Aspirin, salicylates, anti-coagulants, anti-gout medications.
