Max. recomm. daily dose: 26 mg (13 mg X2/d, i.e., 6.0 mL X 2/d)
With concomitant stiripentol (DS pts only)
Day 0 (Starting dose): 0.1 mg/kg taken X 2/d
Day 7: Maintenance dose of 0.2 mg/kg X 2/d
Day 14: Not applic.
Max. recomm. daily dose: 17 mg (8.6 mg X2/d, i.e., 4.0 mL X2/d)
Tmt. of seizures assoc. with Dravet syndr. and Lennox-Gastaut syndr. as an add-on ther. to other anti-epileptics for pts. 2 years of age and older
C/I: Hypersens/Aortic or mitral valvular heart disease/
Pulmonary arterial HT/ Within 14 days of the admin. of monoamine oxidase inhib. due to an incr. risk of serotonin syndr.
